Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to work with students in the Bracknell area on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored educational support outside of a traditional classroom setting.
About the Role:
1. Provide one-to-one tutoring for children and young people with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
2. Develop and deliver personalised learning plans based on each student’s individual needs and EHCPs.
3. Use creative and engaging strategies to promote learning and build confidence.
4. Liaise with parents/carers and other professionals involved in the student’s education.
5. Sessions may take place in the student’s home, a local community venue, or online.

14. Minimum rate of pay – £25 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Tutor:
16. QTS or equivalent
17. A minimum of 1 year UK classroom experience
18. Be confident teaching GCSE classes online
19. Provide a firm but fair approach
20. Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prospero’s course
To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Tutor must:
21. Hold the right to work in the UK
22. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
23. Provide two professional child-related references.
