Client Account Manager An excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated sales professional to join our team at Jay City Finance, a growing financial services organisation, managing supplier and client relationships while driving new business and supporting finance applications. If not, thats fine too providing youre happy to learn about our finance products and services and have a good sales and/or account management background. SALARY: £22,000 £30,000 (Basic Salary) / £35,000 - £45,000 OTE (includes Basic Salary) Discretionary Profit Related End of Year Bonus, Life Insurance and Healthcare LOCATION: Kings Langley, Hertfordshire (100% Office Based) JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent WORKING HOURS: 9am 5pm Monday to Friday JOB OVERVIEW Jay City Finance is a well-respected asset finance brokerage, working with an extensive equipment supplier network, and operating across a broad range of assets and industries. As part of our growth strategy, we now have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Client Account Manager to play a key role in developing supplier and client partnerships, identifying opportunities and generating revenue growth. As a Client Account Manager you will proactively contact potential suppliers and end-user clients, building trusted relationships and understanding their business needs to tailor finance solutions that deliver value. The Client Account Manager will work closely with internal teams to prepare business cases, manage applications and ensure smooth client onboarding, while maintaining accurate CRM records and delivering exceptional customer service. DUTIES Your duties as the Client Account Manager include: Generating Leads: Conduct daily outbound sales calls to potential suppliers and clients Managing CRM Systems: Record interactions, follow-ups and maintain accurate data Building Supplier Relationships: Develop long-term partnerships to secure referrals Understanding Client Needs: Gather information on business operations and funding requirements Preparing Business Cases: Compile financial and operational details for finance applications Coordinating Applications: Work with operations teams to ensure documentation accuracy Monitoring Sales Pipeline: Report on activity, conversions and pipeline progress Supporting Sales Meetings: Share insights, performance updates and best practice This office-based role will have continual contact with both existing and new customers. Therefore, the ability to build new and maintain existing relationships will be key to your success, as will the ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding whilst maintaining a clear focus on objectives. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Sales Expertise: Proven experience of outbound sales, telesales or business development Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to engage clients and suppliers Organisation: Excellent time management with ability to prioritise multiple tasks Financial Awareness: Understanding of asset finance products and business funding CRM Experience: Skilled in using CRM platforms such as Zoho or Salesforce Tech Proficiency: Confident with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook Motivated and Resilient: A proactive, goal-driven and persistent approach to sales success Customer Focus: Professional, ethical and service-oriented approach to building relationships NO AGENCIES PLEASE HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
