S-RC Cup is a UK-wide schools motorsport championship where students design, build, and race their own RC cars. Think Formula 1-style competition for schools - combining engineering, racing, and teamwork in live events.
The Role:
We’re looking for an Event Lead to take ownership of our Sheffield round.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for helping deliver a full competition event-not just assisting, but actually running key parts of it.
What you’ll be responsible for:
* Leading event-day operations (track, teams, schedule, flow)
* Recruiting and coordinating a local volunteer team (10–20 people)
* Acting as the main point of contact on the day
* Solving problems and keeping the event running smoothly
Who this is for:
* Students or early-career individuals interested in events, motorsport, or startups
* Someone who’s proactive and willing to take ownership
* Experience running societies, events, or teams is a big plus
What you’ll get:

Important:
This is a voluntary role, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely wants the experience and responsibility of leading an event. You must be available to lead the event on the 24th April.
