Class 1 Driver
Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbott
Shift: Monday - Friday, Nights

About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
* This will involve internal trunking from Heathfield to various other Gregory depots around the Southwest of England.
* Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
* Checking freight against the manifest at each depot visit.
* Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
* Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
* Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
* Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
* Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Confident, polite, and a team player.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
