The hours for the role are 37.5 hrs with a 3 pm finish on Fridays.
Responsibilities for the role of Marketing Manager
* Formulate and hold accountability for the budget, coordination, and execution of `best in class` marketing initiatives, encompassing search, affiliates, aggregators, programmatic display, partnerships, and social media.
* Proactively drive and evolve the multi-platform marketing strategy via the designated company digital marketing advocate.
* Oversee and collate third-party agencies to enhance and drive brand quality and awareness, this may include PR work and creation.
* Be involved in the conception of creative thinking events to raise profile and awareness for product lines both new and current.
* Be proactive in the driving and development of marketing ventures, and act as a brand advocate at all times.
* Ensure company standards and ideals are upheld in every decision you make for branding and awareness.
* Identify, brief creative and implement physical and/or digital assets that will offer 'best in class' product and brand representation at retail.
* Coordinate with sales teams regularly to drive commercial opportunities and gaps in markets to enhance the brand activities.
* Collaborate closely with the existing digital team and sales team to seek fresh revenue streams and marketing ideas for the company brand.
* Co-create marketing campaigns with the brand teams to ensure comprehensive support across digital marketing channels.
* Provide ad-hoc support to the wider Online Team, covering absences or addressing workloads during peak periods.
* Stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends and drive innovation within the organisation's digital marketing efforts.
Person Specification for the role of Marketing Manager
* Must be educated to degree level for this role.
* Ideally have experience/training in digital marketing to a high level.
* Must have proven expertise in digital marketing with at least 2 years' worth of experience, showcasing hands-on proficiency is a must for this role
* It is essential the candidate is a team player who encourages a wide spectrum of ideas and input to reach winning results.
* Ideally, the candidate can be adept at establishing and achieving targets across a spectrum of performance metrics and KPIs.
* Must have exceptional knowledge of digital channels and their integration within a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy.
* Must be an advocate for optimising the customer journey and collaborating with key stakeholders within the organisation.
* A passion for all things collectable and a hobbyist mindset would be advantageous for this role.
* Must be results-orientated and self-driven to lead and succeed.
* Must be a natural communicator with a strong team mentality.
