We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Bristol. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Management Office, ensuring the seamless execution and delivery of complex projects. Responsibilities
* Coordinating project schedules, resources, and information to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
* Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and proposing corrective measures.
* Acting as a central point of contact for all project participants, facilitating effective communication across teams.
* Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk logs.
* Assisting project managers with budget tracking, expense management, and financial reporting.
* Organising and participating in stakeholder meetings, documenting minutes, and tracking action items.
* Ensuring all project activities adhere to our company's high standards of quality and compliance.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the project coordination team.
Qualifications
Essential:
* Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinator, or in a similar administrative role within a project-based environment.
* Excellent organisational skills, including strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
* Solid working knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
* A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
* A professional certification in project management, such as PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner or APM.
* Experience working within the technology, engineering, or systems integration industry.
* Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
