Job Description
We are seeking a motivated HSE Administrator to support our HSE Manager within a growing crew transfer company. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in a similar health and safety or compliance role and is now looking to develop their skills and progress their career in a marine operational environment.
You will play an active role in supporting safe vessel operations, maintaining robust HSE systems, and contributing to continuous improvement across our fleet and shore-based activities.
It is a great opportunity to build key industry-related skills, gain exposure to a variety of projects in the offshore renewable energy sector. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to manage and prioritise workloads whilst being mindful of timescales and both internal and external demands.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide structured administrative support to the HSE Manager
* Maintain and develop HSE records, databases, and document control systems
* Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
* Support incident, accident, and near-miss reporting, including trend analysis
* Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint
* Track training, medicals, certifications, and competence records
* Support internal audits, inspections, and safety reviews
* Liaise with vessel crews, operations teams, and external stakeholders
* Assist with updates to safety manuals, procedures, and marine documentation
Required education/experience & attributes
* Experience in a health and safety or compliance-based role
* NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* High level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy operational environment
* A proactive approach and willingness to take on increasing responsibility
* Competent in procedural and policy writing, with the ability to produce clear, structured operational and documentation
* Full valid UK driving license
Desired but not essential education/experience & attributes:
* Maritime, marine, or offshore industry knowledge (preferred)
* Experience within crew transfer, offshore wind, or marine operations (advantageous)
