Role Overview
We are appointing experienced Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) with stock condition surveying experience to support a long-term residential surveying programme across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
The role involves completing EPCs and stock condition surveys across a mixed residential portfolio, with surveyors paid per completed survey.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete Domestic Energy Assessments (EPCs)
* Carry out residential stock condition surveys
* Assess building fabric, components, and services
* Identify defects and lifecycle condition
* Capture survey data digitally using handheld devices
* Take supporting photographic evidence
* Work to agreed daily productivity targets
* Follow safeguarding and access procedures
* Ensure all surveys meet audit and quality standards
Requirements
* Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
* Experience completing stock condition surveys
* Good understanding of residential construction
* Confident using digital survey software
* Enhanced DBS (valid and up to date)
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Able to work independently
