Every member of the CPM team contributes to the overall growth of our business. People are at the core of CPMs business proposition so as a key member of the CPM team this role is expected to make a significant contribution to the culture within CPM, via demonstrable initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvement. A winning attitude combined with a digital mindset is essential for success in this role.
The main focus of this role is to provide achievement and delivery against the Client’s Key Result Areas and targets for CPM by maximising orders / sales in & out in their assigned stores across all SKU's. The Territory Sales Developer role is a combination of sales, merchandising and activating. They are responsible for the availability of core range, share of space and activations within their Geographical region.
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
1. To increase business and maximise sales
2. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
3. Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan
4. Deliver and execute the agreed objectives and targets as set out by your line manager
5. To increase Distribution and Availability within store of core range and process
6. appropriate orders electronically for all stores to prevent gaps
7. To increase Distribution and Availability within store by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions
8. Record all data accurately and submit in a timely manner on a daily basis
9. Sell in and build activations in line with company targets
10. Merchandising off sales
11. To understand and identify the needs of the customer
12. Communicate effectively with store management and line managers
13. Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets
14. Constantly strive to reach highest standards of performance
15. Maintain CPM and Client standards at all times
16. Attend a team conference call once a week and team meeting once a month/Qtr
17. To generate new ideas and ways of working
18. To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
19. To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
Requirements
• Full driving licence is essential
• Previous sales or merchandising experience in the retail sector
• A good understanding of the FMCG sector with knowledge of the convenience channel desirable
