Salary range £25,583 - £26,823
FTE per annum (Actual £15,917 - £16,689)
38 weeks - 27.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
1. Provide a professional service supporting the Assistant Financial Manager in all financial transactional processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Trust policy and procedures and statutory regulations for compliance.
2. Order goods, process all invoices, credit notes, payments and receipts, inputting data accurately using the appropriate tools, such as PS Financials software, Bankline and Access Budget software. This will include producing timely payment runs and reports e.g. aged creditor reports in line with the Trust and Academy\'s policy and procedures.
3. Manage the cashbook by posting all payments, including direct debits, bank charges and debit card payments and receipts to the school\'s finance system.
4. Ensure the efficient administration of all cash receipts entered onto the online Arbor cash system, being reconciled to the bank account daily and entered on PSF promptly; ensure all banking for the schools is carried out in line with financial regulations and Trust and school procedure.
5. Assist the Finance team to undertake all month-end procedures, including bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, as directed by your line manager.
6. Work closely with the central Trust Finance Team to provide information required for month-end processing and year-end processing.
7. Maintain an overview of, and update, the asset register in line with Trust expectations.
8. Book CPD for staff and maintain records including totals against budget.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance processes to improve quality and efficiency of provision across the academies.
