SENCO: Shape the Future of Inclusive Education at a New School

Are you a passionate and experienced SENCO looking for a leadership role where you can make a real difference?

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative SENCO to join a team at a brand new, state:of:the:art school in Surrey. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the schools SEN provision from the ground up, ensuring that all students, regardless of their needs, have access to a high:quality and enriching education.

About the Role:

* You will be the lead professional for SEN, providing expert guidance and support to staff, students, and parents.
* You will develop and implement a comprehensive SEN policy and strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice.
* You will lead the schools SEN team, providing training, support, and guidance to staff on effective SEN practices.
* You will work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure that students with SEN receive the appropriate support and interventions.
* You will be responsible for the assessment, monitoring, and review of students with SEN, ensuring that their needs are met and their progress is tracked.

What Theyre Looking For:

* A qualified teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching and a strong understanding of SEN.
* A recognised SENCO qualification (e.g., National SENCO Award).
* Experience in developing and implementing effective SEN policies and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents.
* A commitment to creating a truly inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
