Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
To supervise the day-to-day operations on site, including people management, warehousing, traffic, and admin operations. To deputise for the Contract / Operations Manager where required. Supervise all aspects of the contracts service centre, ensuring the achievement of the contracts KPIs as set out by both the company and the customer. To ensure that all site operations are completed, escalating issues where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and coordinate the incoming goods, storage, and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner to achieve team objectives and KPIs.
2. Ensure all warehousing activities are undertaken in line with the Operations Manual and service centre working instructions.
3. Ensure efficient planning of resources to ensure operations are cost-effective and efficient.
4. Ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely, correctly, and within specified time limits.
5. Ensure warehouse operatives complete loading and unloading documentation on time and in full.
6. Maintain effective, safe, accurate, and timely stock management, including space allocation, stock transfer, and dealing with non-conforming products.
7. Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of product and service quality within the warehouse for the customer.
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
