About This Role
Required for a September 2025 start, we are seeking to appoint an Attendance Administrator and Alternative Provision Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the origination and coordination of alternative provision across the Academy, as well as supporting with first day absence calling and the accurate recording of attendance data.
This is an exciting and dynamic role, where every day is different. The role would suit an individual who has a positive attitude and the ability to embrace change. The role will involve working with stakeholders at all levels, including external alternative provision providers and agencies, completing quality assurance visits to ensure suitability and effectiveness of placements.
The working pattern for this position is Monday to Thursday 8:00am 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am 3:30pm. You will be working school term time plus one week which equates to 39 working weeks per year.

The Academy
Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a good school (OFSTED December 2019), conveniently located close to the Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire & Lincolnshire borders, and benefits from excellent road and rail links.
The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new £6 million wing was opened in September 2018. This extension is an addition to the £20.6 million state-of-the-art building that was completed September 2012, giving every student the opportunity to learn in an exciting and inspiring environment at an Academy that has been recognised for its high standards of inclusion. The Academy has continued to build on the successes of the last few years and achieved strong results at GCSE & A-Level in the summer.
