Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum. Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts across Monday to Sunday. Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, 07:00-19:00.
Purpose of the Role
Deliver statutory, legislative and mandatory electrical maintenance across the client site, completing both planned and reactive tasks as well as minor new works.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults and carry out routine maintenance to industry standards.
* Complete planned maintenance, reactive tasks, minor new works, and like-for-like replacements.
* Conduct electrical testing and verification of minor works.
* Perform risk assessments and work safely at all times.
* Respond to emergency call‑outs, including out‑of‑hours support.
* Supervise specialist subcontractors and support apprentices.
* Maintain accurate records of work, time, and materials.
* Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and statutory requirements.
* Participate in shift and call‑out patterns once the site is live.
Key Accountabilities
* Safe, compliant delivery of electrical maintenance.
* Efficient completion of tasks within service‑level requirements.
* Accurate documentation and reporting to the supervisor.
* Proper care and use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
* Ongoing completion of training and competency assessments.
Person Specification
* 2 years’ experience in technical maintenance.
* Strong practical electrical engineering skills and systematic problem‑solving.
* Experience working within H&S procedures and safe systems of work.
* IT literate (Microsoft Office & CMMS).
* Ability to self‑manage workload and communicate effectively.
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent).
* City & Guilds Level 3 Inspection & Testing.
