We are seeking experienced Plant, Tool and Equipment Technicians to join our team at the Hinkley Point C project.
This role involves contributing to the UK's first 3rd generation nuclear power plant, with responsibilities including maintenance and management of plant, tools, and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
* Repairing and managing on-site plant tools and equipment.
* Providing familiarization to teams on the use of PTE and maintaining standards.
* Offering feedback and suggestions for improvements in PTE management and products.
This position requires manual work such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. It is based on-site at Hinkley Point C, full time (38 hours/week).
Essential Experience (3+ years):
* Maintaining and repairing small tools and plant.
* Electrical and mechanical knowledge for larger plant items.
* Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
* Knowledge of LEV, welding, calibration, and relevant IT systems.
Qualifications:
* Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Light Vehicles).
* Level 2 Progression Award in Automotive Servicing & Repair.
* Level 3 Apprenticeship Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance.
* NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Maintenance.
* Level 3 Certificate in Mechatronics Technician.
A CCNSG safety passport is required before starting.
Security Clearance: Ability to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance is mandatory.
