About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing, specialist marketing agency operating at the intersection of technology, AI and creator partnerships. They work with some of the world's most exciting high-growth brands, helping them scale awareness and revenue through innovative, performance-led campaigns.
The business is entering a major growth phase and is looking for an Operations Director to work closely with the Founder/CEO to build the systems, structure and processes required to scale effectively.

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional operations role.
You will act as a strategic right-hand to the CEO, taking ownership of internal operations across delivery, commercial processes and team performance. Your focus will be driving operational excellence through systems, automation and process improvement.
You will build the infrastructure that allows the business to grow efficiently while maintaining high standards, strong margins and exceptional client delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Process Management
* Build, optimise and scale internal systems across sales, delivery and campaign operations
* Create, document and implement SOPs across all key functions
* Identify inefficiencies and introduce smarter ways of working
* Ensure consistency and quality across campaigns and internal workflows
* Improve processes across sourcing, onboarding and campaign execution
AI & Automation
* Design and implement AI-powered workflows across the business
* Use tools such as Zapier, Make, Claude and automation platforms
* Reduce manual tasks and improve productivity through automation
* Lead the evolution of an AI-enhanced operating model
Team Performance & Leadership
* Support management of campaign and delivery teams
* Drive accountability, ownership and execution standards
* Monitor team performance and ensure targets are achieved
* Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate where required
* Support hiring, onboarding and capacity planning
Commercial & Performance Metrics
* Track KPIs including delivery speed, client satisfaction, retention and output
* Improve profitability through smarter resourcing and operational efficiencies
* Support revenue tracking, margin management and business scalability
Business Support
* Work closely with the CEO across finance, hiring and culture initiatives
* Help shape the internal structure of a fast-growth business
About You
* Proven experience in operations within an agency environment
* Strong understanding of how agencies scale profitably
* Highly systems-oriented with a passion for efficiency
* Experience implementing AI tools, automations or workflow technology
* Commercially minded with strong understanding of margins and performance
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
* Proactive, hands‑on and solutions-focused
Desirable Experience
* Influencer, creator, media or digital agency background
* Experience in startup or scale‑up businesses
* Experience within AI, SaaS or tech‑led businesses
