To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a BI Developer to come and join our team at our head office in Ibstock, Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Power BI semantic models, datasets, and dashboards, ensuring performance, usability, and governance. Act as a senior technical point of reference for Power BI development standards, modelling patterns, DAX, security, and deployment practices. Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to support reporting automation, data validation, distribution, and operational processes. Translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable BI solutions, working directly with senior stakeholders. Support and enhance the organisation’s modern data platform, including ingestion and transformation pipelines where required. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Extensive experience as a Power BI Developer in a complex enterprise environment. Expert knowledge of: Power BI semantic modelling DAX Performance optimisation Rowlevel security and governance Strong experience using Power Automate to support reporting, data processes, and operational workflows. Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and transformation. Proven ability to engage directly with senior business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable BI solutions. Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and audit requirements. Experience supporting and improving reporting platforms used for operational and executive decisionmaking.
