Business Analyst – Asset Management / Investment Management – Regulatory Change

Our client is a Leading and Growing Asset Management company based in the City and is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Change Team. The role will focus on regulatory change projects including sustainability (SFDR, SDR, TCFD). The successful candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in solving complex problems and improving processes. Specific Responsibilities:
* Analyse and document current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement across systems, teams, and workflows.
* Evaluate solution options through structured risk, cost, and benefit analysis to support informed decision-making.
* Perform business process modelling and requirements definition for complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
* Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Support the adoption of consistent analysis and modelling standards across the organisation.
* Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to scope and prioritise initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
* Identify barriers to change—whether operational, technical, or organisational—and propose practical, people-aware solutions.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business analysis practice by sharing insights, refining approaches, and championing best practices.
Experience Required:
* Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst, with a track record of delivering impactful change across multiple business areas.
* A background in Asset Management with experience of working on regulatory change projects.
* A commercial and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to balance strategic goals and operational realities.
* Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional Scrum teams including developers, testers, and product owners.
* Comfort and capability in delivering projects that involve both business change and technology change.
* Expertise in business process modelling, requirements gathering, and translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
* Experience working on data-driven initiatives or digital transformation projects is a plus.
* SQL, Excel, BPMN, PowerPoint and PowerBI skills are highly desirable but not essential.
