The Role
We are looking for ahands-on Marketing Managerto join Innovo as ourfirst dedicated marketing hire.
This is not a role for someone who wants to manage agencies from a distance or inherit a large team. This is a role for someone who enjoys building, creating and delivering themselves. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing activity across the business, helping raise brand awareness, improve our digital presence, generate leads and support commercial growth.
You will need to be comfortable switching between strategy and execution. One day you might be planning a campaign or refining brand messaging; the next you might be writing LinkedIn posts, updating website copy, creating case studies, supporting sales materials or identifying new opportunities to help the business win work.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver Innovo’s marketing plan in line with business growth objectives
* Take ownership of day-to-day marketing activity across the business
* Write and publish content for LinkedIn and other relevant channels
* Create, improve and manage website content, ensuring it stays up to date, relevant and commercially effective
* Develop marketing materials including brochures, presentations, case studies, email content and sales support collateral
* Work closely with the owner and sales teams to identify opportunities, support business development activity and help convert leads
* Help define and strengthen INNOVO’s brand positioning, messaging and tone of voice
* Plan and execute campaigns that raise awareness and generate commercial opportunities
* Monitor website and marketing performance, using data and insight to improve results over time
* Identify practical ways marketing can support lead generation, customer engagement and overall business growth
* Manage external suppliers or freelancers where needed, while remaining willing to do much of the work directly
* Build the foundations of a scalable marketing function, including processes, content, tools and reporting
About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware and comfortable working independently. You will be confident enough to create a strategy, but practical enough to deliver it yourself.
You will likely have:
* Proven experience in a broad marketing role, ideally in a standalone or highly hands-on position and preferably with an industrial background
* Experience creating content across multiple channels, especially LinkedIn and website content
* Strong copywriting and communication skills
* Good understanding of digital marketing, brand development and lead generation
* Experience supporting sales or business development through marketing activity
* The ability to spot commercial opportunities and turn ideas into action
* Confidence working across a wide range of tasks without needing heavy support or structure
* A self-starting attitude and a willingness to take ownership
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a varied role
* Experience in B2B marketing
* Experience in a growing SME or entrepreneurial business
* Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools and website CMS platforms
* Experience creating or managing case studies, presentations and sales enablement content
* Ability to analyse performance data and make practical recommendations
