Job Description:
Overview
ISS is seeking a motivated Learning & Development Coordinator to support the delivery of training programmes on one of its largest government contracts.
This role offers a great entry point for candidates looking to develop their career in L&D or HR within a large, dynamic organisation.
You will play a key role in ensuring all training activities are compliant, timely, cost-effective, and well managed. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with site Placemakers to maintain accurate records and support the Learning Management System (LMS).
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate internal and external training sessions, delivered both in-person and online.
* Maintain and update training records for all staff, ensuring data accuracy.
* Monitor and report on compliance with mandatory training requirements using competency passports.
* Provide first-line support and user management for the MyLearning platform.
* Manage the L&D inbox, handling queries efficiently.
* Raise and manage purchase orders for external training providers.
* Identify opportunities to improve and automate L&D processes for efficiency.
About You
* Previous administrative experience, preferably in the Construction or Facilities Management sectors.
* Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal and written communication.
* Confident working with large data sets; experience with Excel and Power BI is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Skills Guard or similar competency passport systems is preferred.
* Some project management experience would also be beneficial.
