Property Counsel
Location: Birmingham, Snow Hill
Salary: £46,406 - £74,995
A great opportunity for an experienced Property Solicitor to support a major national infrastructure programme. You'll provide specialist legal advice across a wide range of property matters, with a particular focus on utilities, statutory undertakers, and the delivery of land and property requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on acquisitions, disposals, easements, leases, licences, and landlord & tenant matters.
Support negotiations and agreements with utilities, telecoms and other statutory undertakers.
Manage your own caseload of complex property and compulsory purchase matters.
Draft and update legal templates and support internal governance processes.
Oversee external legal support, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to senior stakeholders across the organisation.About You
Qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in property law.
Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Background working with government bodies, utilities or transport organisations.
Experience handling varied property transactions and supporting infrastructure or development projects.
