Role Summary
As Chief Finance Officer, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving financial performance, enabling strategic growth, and supporting investor engagement. Reporting to both CEO and PE board, you will play a central role in enabling strategic decision-making, supporting M&A activity, and ensuring financial discipline in a fast-evolving regulatory and threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and cybersecurity market dynamics.
* Partner with the CEO and executive team to provide financial insight on strategic initiatives, including product development, market expansion, and client acquisition.
* Lead investor relations and manage key external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and the board.
* Deliver commercial analysis to optimise pricing models, recurring revenue streams (e.g. MSSP, SaaS), and margin performance.
* Oversee financial operations across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with international standards and cybersecurity regulations.
* Support inorganic growth initiatives including acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and geographic expansion.
* Ensure robust financial controls, risk management, and covenant reporting in line with PE expectations.
* Build and lead a high-performing finance team with a focus on agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
* Senior finance or strategy leader with proven experience in cybersecurity
* Proven track record in scaling businesses through organic and acquisitive growth.
* Strong understanding of recurring revenue models and commercial analytics.
* Experience in M&A, investor relations, and board-level engagement.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong commercial acumen.
* International exposure and comfort operating in dynamic, high-growth environments.
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA (or equivalent)
