Purpose of the role
To carry out delivery duties within Movianto UK transport operations to a standard that meets our quality expectations. Follow documented or briefed procedures to ensure operations are completed efficiently and safely.
How you'll make an impact at Movianto
* Operate company vehicles with valid licenses and authorizations.
* Collaborate with warehouse staff to offload and reload vehicles at customer locations and the depot to ensure delivery runs are completed.
* Ensure delivery runs are completed before loading.
* Be flexible with start times and adaptable to different delivery areas as required.
* Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Present tachographs or Digi-cards for analysis when requested, and follow reasonable instructions from supervisors, including driving a Class 2 vehicle or van if necessary.
* Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
* Wear safety and company uniforms at all times and comply with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
What it takes to thrive at Movianto
* Previous experience in multi-drop delivery operations with a Class 1 (CE) license and a full UK driver’s license (maximum of 6 penalty points).
* Strong communication skills, articulate, numerate, with a positive attitude.
* Flexible availability and adaptability to changing work hours, with constructive feedback.
* Good physical health to complete operational tasks and maintain a professional appearance.
* Personal responsibility for high-quality work, honesty, credibility, punctuality, and respect for clients' needs.
* ADR qualification is desirable.
