Financial Controller – 6-Month Contract | London | Office-Based

Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily cash flow, financial operations, and monthly reporting.
* Prepare P&L statements, annual accounts, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
* Manage payroll, supplier payments, and ensure financial compliance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors and banking partners.
* Produce management reports and undertake cost, productivity, and business analysis.
* Manage relationships with suppliers, traders, and service partners.
* Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries.
* Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and support recruitment processes.
* Maintain and update internal policies and lead the annual salary review cycle.
* Supervise, coach, and support the Accounts Assistant.
* Conduct performance reviews and contribute to team development.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within travel or hospitality.
* Experience managing and developing a small team.
* Proficiency with systems such as Sage, Dolphin/ProTas, and MS Office.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
* Strong financial, analytical, and IT skills.
* Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities.
* Clear and confident communication skills.
