Overview
Ideally you will have a drivers licence as we like to support our children with access to the local and wider community. However, a drivers licence is not essential for this role.
We do not offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyones individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
* Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people supported and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
* Facilitate social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice. Supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.
* Undertake all aspects of day-to-day household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
* Support them to manage their personal care and hygiene.
