Duties
* Lead daily gym operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to foster a positive team environment
* Manage shift schedules, allocate resources to tasks efficiently, and oversee member engagement to meet customer expectations
* Handle inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly.
* Oversee health & safety control processes
* Support management in budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations
Skills
* Proven experience in service management
* Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising or assistant manager experience in hospitality or fitness environment
* Proficiency with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
* Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and team management to build cohesive teams
* Deep understanding of health & safety compliance, supplier and third party contractor management, plus budget management
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable member experiences
* Ability to manage shift operations effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while leading teams confidently
