Job Advert Contract: Permanent Job type: 37.5 hours per week - full-time Salary: £31,003 per annum Department: CYP Services Type of role: Hybrid working Location: WCL Mind Head Office, Westminster and RBKC schools, WFH Are you looking to grow your career in a Mental Health Support Team and use your clinical and data skills to make a meaningful difference to children and young people’s lives? We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Assistant Psychologist – Data Analyst to join our West Central London MHST. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with a strong background in psychology, data analysis, and research, combined with clinical experience delivering low-intensity interventions. You will work across educational settings in Westminster and RBKC, supporting children and young people aged 5–18. You’ll also lead on data analysis and service evaluation to help shape the future of our provision. You Will: Lead on data analysis and reporting, including NHS Digital submissions, outcome monitoring, service audits, and evaluations Design and implement service evaluation methods with quick turnaround times Deliver evidence-based, low-intensity psychological interventions, both 1:1 and group-based Conduct protocol-based risk assessments and develop suitable care plans Monitor progress and provide feedback to clients, referrers, and supervisors Attend clinical supervision and case management meetings regularly Present clinical and service data clearly and accessibly to the wider team Co-produce service materials and pathways with children, young people, and families Keep up to date with NICE guidance and relevant mental health research Use IT tools confidently (e.g. Excel, SPSS) to manage and analyse large datasets You Are: Qualified with a minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology Experienced in postgraduate research (e.g. Master’s, PhD, or as a research assistant) Skilled in using Excel and SPSS for data management and analysis Experienced in delivering high-volume, low-intensity interventions in primary care or school settings Knowledgeable about mental health needs in children and young people Organised, analytical, and comfortable managing both clinical and data responsibilities A strong communicator who can present complex information clearly Confident in discussing safeguarding concerns appropriately Motivated to work in a multi-agency setting with schools and partner organisations About us: We’re a leading community-based organisation dedicated to providing outstanding mental health support and clinical interventions across London.
