The Boeing Company is looking for a F-22 Simulation Software Engineer Simulation (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the F-22 Simulation Infrastructure team located in Berkeley, Missouri. This position supports the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.
This organization designs, develops, and demonstrates avionics solutions for the F-22 Raptor, the premier 5th gen air superiority fighter flown only by the United States Air Force (USAF). Your role involves working as part of an agile team to create and maintain the simulation environment and infrastructure used to support the development and testing of advanced capabilities of the F-22 Raptor. These models support software engineers and are utilized in desktop development environments as well as hardware/software integration labs across the enterprise.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced, and Senior Software Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
* Supports the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, and frameworks to enhance test performance, safety, and durability throughout the product lifecycle.
* Collaborates with stakeholders to review and identify simulation requirements and system dynamics.
* Designs, models, tests, and analyzes to optimize system performance and capabilities.
* Contributes to data collection and processing for simulations.
* Validates, verifies, and refines simulation software, models, test procedures, and environments, executing tests and documenting results.
* Maintains technical documentation of code, algorithms, and simulation models.
* Works with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation software with hardware systems.
* Implements emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methods in the simulation environment.
* Supports modernization, migration, and updates to simulation software, including legacy system adaptation.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at one of the listed locations.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).
* 2+ years’ experience in Ada, C++, Python, C#, Rust.
* 2+ years’ experience in Linux and Windows OS.
* 2+ years’ experience in real-time and embedded software development, abstraction, and containerization.
* 2+ years’ experience with AGILE, Git, unit testing, and integration testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Knowledge of specification standards, certification systems, software modeling, API design, real-time architectures, and cloud technologies.
* Experience with software testing, verification, validation, containerization, and networking.

* Pay Range: Associate: $90,100 - $121,900; Experienced: $110,500 - $149,500; Senior: $132,600 - $179,400.
