We have a rewarding opportunity for a carer to support a young man with a spinal cord injury at his home in Cambridge. You'll assist with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and accompany him to appointments and social activities. The role also involves caring in a home with a pet cat, so animal lovers are welcome.
What you’ll do
You’ll be responsible for providing daily personal care, managing meal prep, household cleaning, laundry, and accompanying the client to medical appointments and social events. You will help with mobility, assist with the management of a pet cat, and support the client in his home environment.
What you’ll need
You don’t need complex care experience to apply. This role requires a full UK driving licence. You will receive full training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
