Accounts Payable/Tax Clerk
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role supports the Finance Department in the efficient processing of accounts payable in accordance with corporate policies.
Primary Responsibilities
* Receive, distribute, and match paper and electronic invoices to packing slips, purchase orders, and receipts; prepare invoices for data entry, check extensions, tax calculations, and codes; assign vendor and account numbers; obtain departmental approval; ensure timely payment; resolve discrepancies with vendors.
* Review accounts payable batches for accuracy in vendor assignments, tax handling, payable amounts, and supporting documentation; guard against double payments; resolve discrepancies.
* Process approved invoices for weekly cheque run; enter data; resolve system error reports; print and mail/distribute cheques; prepare summary and balance reports; post to accounts payable sub‑ledger and General Ledger; prepare electronic funds transfers.
* Review staff travel claims, purchasing/credit card reconciliations, and supporting documentation; identify potentially fraudulent transactions; check accuracy in tax handling; prepare and post entry batches into the accounting system; resolve discrepancies with department or employee.
* Answer inquiries of suppliers and department staff regarding invoices and balances.
* Act as a customer service representative at the counter for payments and inquiries.
Tax Collection
* Assist residents with tax enquiries, prepare tax statements and 357/358 applications.
* Respond to inquiries from lawyers and mortgage companies.
* Generate and distribute monthly Tax Arrears Notices.
Administration
* Respond to public concerns, complaints, questions, suggestions, and inquiries.
* Respond to telephone and counter inquiries, provide information, and redirect calls.
* Assist with municipal communications, including website maintenance and creation of news items and social media posts.
Qualifications
* Post‑secondary education degree or diploma in Accounting/Business.
* One to three years’ experience working in Accounts Payable is an asset.
* Municipal Accounting, Finance and Tax Administration experience is beneficial.
* Ability to be flexible to changing demands while maintaining accuracy.

This full‑time position provides a range of daycare services to children from the ages of 18 months to 12 years.
Your Role
* Plan and implement age‑appropriate training programmes, including songs, stories, discussions, crafts and calendar activities.
* Teach gross motor skills, dramatic play, use of senses, and science.
* Supervise children in various settings such as outdoors, classroom, and sleep room.
* Provide toilet training and teach proper hygiene.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role performs and coordinates GIS work and operations data management to support the municipality’s legislative compliance and capital asset planning.
Primary Responsibilities
* Create maps for all departments as required.
* Support managers in scheduling contractor work, developing tenders, and proposals.
* Develop models to assist in strategic calculations.
* Manage the collection of annual reflectivity data.
* Develop and manage all web GIS data and applications.
* Compile and organize data from maps, databases, and other sources.
* Perform spatial analysis.
* Analyze, query, and run reports using GIS data.
* Develop and manage databases for spatial and related data.
* Assist the Director and Treasury with asset management component identification.
Qualifications
* Post‑secondary degree or diploma related to GIS, Civil Technician, or related field.
* Previous experience in a municipal administration setting preferred.
* Knowledge and experience in municipal operations or public works maintenance activities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS Online.
* Project Management certificate considered an asset.

This part‑time position is responsible for maintenance and operational duties for municipal facilities and lands.
Primary Responsibilities
* Perform ice maintenance tasks such as resurfacing, edging, and depth checks following ORFA best practices.
* Assist with ice making, painting, and removal.
* Conduct refrigeration plant readings and documentation.
* Assist with Centennial Park Pool maintenance.
* Maintain parkland, sports fields, trails, and ball diamonds.
* Operate lawn mowers, tractors, weed trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and brush chippers.
* Assist with horticultural duties.
* Repair and maintain equipment.
* Assist with turf maintenance and repair.

Qualifications
