We supply all the UK's food retailers with items from sandwiches and soups to sushi, cooking sauces, pickles, and ready meals. In FY24 we generated revenues of 1.8bn. Our direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network comprises 17 depots nationwide, enabling over 10,500 daily deliveries of our own produce and that of third parties. Our Warrington site, also known as the Italian centre of excellence, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit producing high-quality Italian ready meals for Tesco and Co-Op.

What you\'ll be doing
As Warehouse Manager you will report into the Supply Chain Manager and lead colleagues in the Warehouse team to select the required products for distribution to customers in a timely manner and ensure compliance with required standards.
* Continuously monitor all operational processes and the overall working environment to ensure that activities comply with food safety standards
* Monitor and review rotas to ensure that staff availability and alignment fit the department’s requirements and training needs
* Promote a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) culture within the department, ensuring compliance with all elements of health and safety procedures and the management system to promote a safe working environment
* Ensure training is planned, recorded and managed for staff in accordance with agreed training matrices
* Manage waste levels to a minimum to manage costs
* Provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure they are appropriately trained, operate to Group policy standards and maximise performance
* Monitor operational performance trends to ensure that delivery meets agreed customer and Greencore standards and that opportunities for performance improvement are rapidly identified and implemented

* Health and safety Level 2 Highfield
* Knowledge of budget process
* Understand LEAN to identify and implement business improvement programmes
* Understanding of voice picking methods
* UK driving license required
