What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver bespoke English and literacy sessions (1:1 and small groups).
* Help students gain accreditation (Functional Skills, GCSE, Entry Level).
* Use creative, student-centred methods to boost reading, writing, and confidence.
* Mentor and support students with pacing, emotional challenges, or behavioural difficulties.
* Embed literacy across MADPro's five pillars, enhancing cross-curricular delivery.
* Collaborate with staff championing trauma-informed and inclusive practices.
You Are
* HLTA qualified, or experienced to that level.
* Excellent in literacy and numeracy (GCSE C/4 minimum).
* Experienced in working with students whose needs fall outside mainstream settings.
* Creative, empathetic, resilient, and flexible.
* Safeguarding-committed, emotionally perceptive, and team-oriented.
Bonus if you:
* Hold a degree in English or Education.
* Have training in structured literacy interventions (e.g. Sounds-Write, Lexia).
* Are familiar with trauma-informed practice in educational settings.
* Have experience delivering accredited English qualifications.
