Job responsibilities The post holder will work as an important member of the Multidisciplinary Team within University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust, across the community. They will utilize skills of clinical expertise, education and management to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers and staff. They will provide specialist nursing advice, support and information to patients (in-patient and out-patient), receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment for Melanoma in BHOC. Under the guidance of the B7 Melanoma CNS, the post holder will play an active role in the management of Melanoma patients and will be pivotal in delivering specialist care to patients receiving immunotherapy and targeted therapy in this rapidly expanding and exciting area. There will be an expectation that the post holder will also work alongside the non-melanoma skin cancer team providing resilience to the service. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community to ensure a co-ordinated quality service and will be actively involved in education, audit and research. The post holder will engage and lead discussions in multidisciplinary team meetings, acting as an advocate for patients and their carers.
