About the role
We are part of the Anglian Water @one Alliance, a collaborative organisation delivering large‑scale water projects. The Senior Planner will be responsible for meticulous planning and coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead collaborative digital planning and production meetings to ensure clarity of requirements and expectations.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans in accordance with @one and AW requirements.
* Liaise with delivery teams to ensure consistency in methodology and outputs.
* Proactively identify opportunities and risks and explore mitigation strategies.
* Develop 4D animations of project plans to aid in digital rehearsal of construction.
* Gather progress information and communicate effects on key dates, challenging the team to deliver on time.
* Attend site regularly to gather programme update information.
* Communicate critical paths and key activities in team meetings.
* Advise the team on priorities to prevent activities from becoming critical.
* Attend meetings as required and provide project‑specific reports as needed.
* Maintain planning standards across @one and adhere to published processes.
* Ensure integrity of project plans and actively participate in driving best practices.
* Ensure alignment between plans and cost forecasts.
A Little Bit About Your Skills, Experience and Behaviours
* Minimum five years of experience in large‑scale projects within the Civil Engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.
* Essential experience with P6 (Primavera).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage complex project plans effectively.
