Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Graduate Trainee Accountant for a growing organisation based in Bridgend, Wales.
The Graduate Trainee Accountant will support the finance team in all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and accounting requirements
Key Responsibilities:
The role will involve all aspects of financial accounting processes including:
* Sales and purchase ledger processing
* Assisting with recurring invoice monthly process
* Reporting and reviewing trade receivables and trade payables
* Cash book / bank reconciliations
* Monthly payment runs / ad hoc payments / direct debit collections
* Fixed assets
* Accruals and prepayments
* Stock
* Provisions
* Assisting with all aspects of financial reporting to Group Finance:
* Weekly cash forecasting
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Monthly, quarterly and year end reporting
* Annual budget
* Assisting with the statutory audit process and liaising with auditors
* Liaising closely with Purchasing and Sales departments
* Assistance at bi-annual stock-take
We require a 2:1 or first class degree in Accounting and Finance or a related maths based subject.
We are seeking applicants who are currently based in South Wales only.
On offer:
Salary: £26,100 with full study package, all training costs covered, half day release per week for study, bonus and company pension. The role is fully site based in Bridgend.
