SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients, and dairy-free products.
We are hiring two sales representatives to support our efforts in expanding further into the food service sector, focusing on generating new business opportunities and growing existing accounts for our entire product portfolio.
With existing relationships and data to support your success, you’ll have a key role in driving business in channels with substantial opportunities for our portfolio. This involves contacting end users to understand their requirements and developing solutions to meet those needs.
This role offers the opportunity for career development and the freedom to approach tasks creatively to ensure our proposals stand out.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engaging directly with product end-users, creating and presenting solution-led propositions in partnership with commercial, chef, and innovation teams to increase volume through our out-of-home (OOH) customers.
2. Conducting market, customer, and channel research to understand usage and application, providing insights to shape new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD).
3. Engaging with regional teams to win new business and increase volume from existing customers.
4. Attending exhibitions and trade shows to showcase our portfolio, generate leads, and explore new opportunities.
5. Supporting projects and initiatives with a problem-solving approach to unlock solutions for both existing and new businesses.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Experience in sales or customer management within FMCG, retail, or food service sectors.
2. Ability to identify and unlock new business through innovative approaches.
3. Proven track record of managing and growing existing business with strong relationship-building skills.
4. Resilient, driven, and capable of building cross-functional relationships internally and externally.
5. Good commercial and business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
6. Passionate about our products and results-oriented.
