Salary: £38,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area.
This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled Multi Trader with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. Due to the location of the works, candidates must live within approximately 10-15 miles of Hastings town centre.
The role offers a varied workload across reactive and planned maintenance, carrying out a range of day-to-day repairs within residential properties. We are looking for candidates with a strong core trade and experience across a variety of maintenance disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
* Working on both occupied and void properties
* Basic carpentry including door repairs, skirting, architraves and kitchen adjustments
* Basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets and pipework
* Patch plastering and making good
* Minor tiling repairs and replacements
* Painting and decorating where required
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
* Accurately updating jobs and completing reports using a PDA system
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Multi Trader within the social housing or property maintenance sector
* Experience working in occupied and void properties
* Good all-round knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance
* Previous experience using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Must live within 10-15 miles of Hastings town centre due to the location of the works
