Who we are looking for: A Teaching and Learning Assistant based at our Sybil Elgar School in Woodlands, Acton and Primary School in Southall. You’ll be working with autistic children in a school environment.
Awarded Ofsted Outstanding in January 2022, Sybil Elgar School offers educational support for children and young people on the autism spectrum between the ages of 4-22. We strive to provide the most suitable support required by our students to assist them with their learning and educational needs, across our sites Southall and Acton, in our host authority of Ealing; Working with children and young adults with special educational needs comes with its challenges, and our valued staff join us knowing that to have made a positive impact on a young person’s learning development is priceless. Being a Teaching and Learning Assistant takes bravery, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
Hours of work:
37 hours per week, term time only.
