Tradewind Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a high-achieving mixed secondary school in the London borough of Havering. This Client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from the Summer Term. Salary will be paid in line with London MPS.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Drama across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a well-established and supportive performing arts department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive Drama lessons that inspire students and develop their confidence, performance skills and understanding of theatrical techniques. You will assess and monitor student progress, prepare students for practical and written examinations, contribute to school productions and performances, and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in lessons.
To be considered for this role, you must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You should have experience teaching Drama at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, demonstrate strong subject knowledge, and have the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. This Client is looking for a teacher with excellent classroom management skills, strong organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for the performing arts. You should be committed to raising achievement, supporting students' personal development, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
