Salary:£35,000-£55,000 per annum (Dependant on Experience)
Purpose of the Role
We are looking to hire a senior paralegal or junior lawyer, who will assist our Head of Legal in the day-to-day legal and business operations of 501 Entertainment Ltd (“501”). This is an exciting role for a legal enthusiast with a broad skillset who is looking to progress their career in a rapidly growing business. In this role, you will be working closely with all areas of our business, including Sales, Product Development, Finance, People & Talent, Marketing, and IT Security.
This is a varied role that offers strong opportunities for continuous learning and development.
Core Responsibilities include
Commercial Contracts
* Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer agreements, services agreements, NDAs, and IT/software licence agreements
* Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and clause libraries
* Partner with the Sales team to support deal progression, balancing commercial speed with legal risk
* Identify recurring contractual issues and propose scalable, practical solutions
IP Support
* Support the Head of Legal in managing 501’s IP portfolio, including trademarks, designs and patents, working with external counsel on filings and renewals
Employment / People Legal Support
* Assist the People team with updates to employment terms, policy roll-outs and incoming employment law queries
* Support our internal People processes through legally informed documentation, including offer letters, contractor terms, and standard policy updates
Privacy Support
* With the support of the Head of Legal, assist in reviewing and managing 501’s internal and external privacy compliance programme, including privacy notices, terms, and data processing agreements
* Maintain internal compliance records and coordinate across teams to collect and keep required information up to date
Litigation
* Work closely with the Head of Legal on litigation matters
