We are delighted to offer a permanent KS1 Class Teacher role in an Ofsted-rated Outstanding mainstream primary school in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, and for the right candidate, there is potential for a TLR linked to subject or phase leadership.

The Role
* Position: KS1 Class Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2 – based on experience)
* Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
* Start Date: January 2026
* Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
* TLR: Available for subject or key stage leadership (for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Use formative assessment to support pupil progress and plan effectively
* Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and independence
* Work closely with your year group partner and wider team to share planning and best practice
* Communicate clearly and constructively with parents and carers
* (If applicable) Take on a leadership role for a subject or key area within the school

* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience or a strong interest in Key Stage 1
* A reflective and creative practitioner who puts children at the heart of learning
* A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Someone with strong classroom management who promotes high expectations and mutual respect
* A teacher keen to grow professionally and contribute to school-wide improvement
