Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and reliable Chef de Partie to join our busy pub kitchen team. You will take responsibility for a section of the kitchen, preparing and cooking fresh, to a consistently high standard. This role is ideal for a chef with solid experience who thrives in a fast-paced, friendly environment and is passionate about hearty, great-quality food.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes across your section, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Work with the Head Chef and to deliver traditional pub dishes.
* Maintain portion control and manage prep efficiently to meet service demands.
* Support and mentor junior team members (Commis Chefs/Kitchen Porters).
* Ensure the kitchen maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
* Monitor stock rotation, reduce waste, and report shortages to management.
* Uphold food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a pub, restaurant, or similar environment.
* Good knowledge of traditional British pub food and modern classics.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services.
* Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Team player with a willingness to support across all sections when needed.

Pay: £12.70-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
