The Opportunity
JOB DESCRIPTION
The CHFP Social Media Assistant will support the CHFP Project Manager in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) for the Cultural Heritage Framework Programme, an official Action of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
This is a fixed-term, guaranteed hours role, offering 85 hours between July and 31st December 2025. We consider requests for hybrid working (remote and on-campus) on a non-contractual basis.
The position is paid hourly at Grade UE05: £29,179 - £33,482 per annum pro-rata (part-time), equivalent to £15.99 - £18.35 per hour, including an 18.1% annual leave allowance.
Your Skills And Attributes For Success
* Working towards a degree in a related discipline (e.g., Archaeology, Marine Policy, Geosciences, Environment).
* Experience in managing social media platforms, editing, and posting multimedia content.
* Knowledge of Word processing systems and standard software packages.
* Interest in engaging the public with ocean science.
