Job Description
VodafoneThree is seeking a Strategic Financial Governance Lead – Intercompany (Business & Consumer) to manage the commercial governance of intercompany relationships. The role oversees approximately £0.4bn of annual contract value across forward and reverse services, ensuring strategic alignment, value delivery and stakeholder outcomes across contractual, financial and performance dimensions.
Responsibilities
* Commercial governance of contractual, financial, performance and relationship aspects of intercompany services with Vodafone Group covering Business and Consumer through the VSA and other interco arrangements.
* Develop a long‑term commercial strategy for intercompany services in collaboration with Business Owners to secure stakeholder outcomes and deliver incremental benefits to the joint business plan.
* Lead new intercompany agreements, service scope, change requests, work orders, contract variations and disputes related to the Interco contracts for Business and Consumer.
* Build and lead virtual, cross‑functional teams to achieve key outcomes.
* Encourage a collaborative approach to identifying and addressing contract‑related challenges, fostering an environment where business owners take ownership of solutions and budget impacts.
* Hold business owners accountable for managing budgets, identifying potential overruns or savings, and communicating financial impacts while building strong, sustainable relationships.
* Maintain an 18‑month rolling view of contract commitments for budgeting and forecasting input.
* Lead strategic evaluation of new services/contracts and contractual scope changes, working with business owners, procurement, legal and finance to support board recommendations and drive incremental value.
* Represent VodafoneThree’s commercial position at contractual governance meetings, ensuring senior stakeholders are briefed and governance processes are complied with in all Intercompany decisions.
* Foster open and honest communication, building trust and transparency with stakeholders by actively listening to feedback, sharing information clearly and addressing concerns promptly.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in contract governance and strategic planning.
* Proven experience managing and leading negotiations of high‑value, complex contractual arrangements and performance management within customer‑facing technology and/or service contracts.
* Strong skill in complex senior stakeholder management and influencing across internal and external organisations, negotiation and conflict resolution.
* Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
