We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator / Pre-Construction Surveyor to join our Lovell Renew division based at our office in Doncaster. This is a great time to join a growing business.
On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of comprehensive bids demonstrating the highest standards of detail and quality.
Working closely with both internal operational teams, commercial teams and external supply chain partners, you will ensure that commercial opportunities are optimised and the company’s position is always suitably protected. You will set the commercial strategy alongside our Commercial team, review the opportunity and highlight the risks, along with producing accurate and timely reports. In addition, you will identify, escalate and proactively manage all tender commercial issues, protecting the company’s obligations.
We are looking for an Estimator with a strong understanding of the refurbishment market and ideally the social housing sector. You’ll need to have high attention to detail, an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving and be able to plan effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
We are looking for an exemplar individual who fits The Lovell Way; you will be passionate about the refurbishment market and be confident building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. With a flexible and agile approach to work, you will be solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure the commercial team meets its targets.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required and previous experience of Estimating software, including ASTA, Evaluate and COINS would be advantageous, however are not essential.
You must hold a current driving licence which is essential for the role.
