Applications are invited for a whole-time equivalent Locum Consultant Anaesthetist post based at Aberdeen. The post is being advertised with a general interest and is available for a period of 6 months. The appointment is for a Locum Consultant Anaesthetist position in the Aberdeen area, with the opportunity for flexible working arrangements including annualised job plans and job sharing. The department has a strong teaching, research, and clinical service profile, with links to a state-of-the-art medical school and several research institutes.
The 10 programmed activities will comprise 8 Direct Clinical Care and 2 Supporting Professional Activities. On-call duties will be approximately 1:8 on a non-resident basis. The post may be suitable for part-time working.
Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post).
