Role Overview
As a certified nurse or paramedic, you can pursue a career within the criminal justice system, aiding societys most vulnerable individuals. You will provide exemplary care in custody suites, working closely with police and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites, ensuring safety round‑the‑clock.
• Work full time in a fixed shift rota: 4 shifts on and 4 days off, with 2‑day shifts (06:45‑19:00) followed by 2‑night shifts (18:45‑07:00). Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
• Provide clinical, forensic, and broader skills as part of a cohesive team.
Minimum Qualifications
* RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration, 2 years post‑qualification (Band 5 minimum)
* Paramedic with 2 years post‑qualification
* Driving licence
* Living in the UK with full right to work (British passport or ILR for 3 years, no gaps >3 months)
* All candidates subject to Police Vetting
Benefits and Compensation
• Salary £41,000 per year
• £1,000 bonus upon completion of 12 months service
• Average estimated overtime £3,500 per annum
• NMC/HCPC registration paid
• Full time role, flexible shift pattern, full shift working required. Part‑time and bank contracts not available.
