About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Social Strategist. Working in a small team, you will be responsible for auditing, ideating, concepting and creating content for social channels with a performance mindset. Strong data‑analysis and auditing skills are essential to develop strategies that meet client and audience needs. The role will focus primarily on a food‑solutions company in the UK, across a portfolio of brands, delivering strategy and insights on multiple social channels. You will also support the agency’s broader social media accounts and advise on client and internal projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough research to inform the social offering of our clients, including desk research, data insights, native analysis, social listening, and platform best practice.
* Create and inform user journeys for social media platforms and web.
* Use creative and data to determine content types, formats, and platforms that drive performance.
* Develop influencer and creator‑based strategies and manage ongoing campaigns.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver strategic needs of new and existing clients.
* Work with other content strategists to provide in‑depth social insights for cross‑platform strategies.
* Partner with search and insights teams to supply social insights for search recommendations.
* Create and manage social content publishing workflows.
* Set guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all social content, and develop governance documents and playbooks.
* Conduct social audits and touchpoint analyses.
* Oversee planning, production, and reporting on social publishing; mentor social team members; keep Greenpark abreast of changes in the social landscape.
About You
* Minimum 5+ years in social strategy with a broad understanding of consumer habits, channels, and touchpoints.
* Experience in food & drink – ideally across lifestyle, health, wellness, beauty, and consumer goods.
* Deep understanding of channel purpose, content formats, and best practices.
* Comfortable conducting consumer research through desk or insights tools.
* Sound knowledge of social platforms and publishing roles.
* Proficiency in social reporting and analytics, capable of interpreting data to lead strategies.
* Experience in both organic and paid media; ability to align paid and organic across social and web.
* Concepting and creating social content.
* Creating user journeys informed by consumer and SEO insights; connecting social projects to web and working holistically across digital platforms.
* Influencer analysis, recruitment, and management experience.
* Experience collaborating with other agencies to deliver holistic social strategies.
