Link Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors in the Northfleet area.
We are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors who are interested in day-to-day supply work across Secondary Schools. The role involves working across various schools in Northfleet and surrounding areas.
Cover Supervisor: The Role
The Cover Supervisor will undertake specified teaching duties, including delivering lessons and managing the classroom. Responsibilities include engaging students with tasks aligned with the national curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach, motivate, and inspire students, collaborating with teachers and teaching assistants.
Cover Supervisor: The Ideal Candidate
* Passion for working in Education
* Commitment to creating a stimulating and safe learning environment
* Strong understanding of safeguarding
* Confidence in delivering lessons with a good knowledge of the curriculum
* Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
* Experience or understanding of SEN or challenging behaviors (desirable)
* A relevant qualification in education and teaching (QTS not required but desirable)
* Strong curriculum knowledge and experience in the full role
* Classroom experience and referees
* Valid Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one
* Professional, reliable, and punctual
* Experience in the UK secondary school environment with a good understanding of safeguarding
