Learning And Skills Advisor – Customer Experience

You will join Learning and Skills, a committed and collaborative team within Education, Schools and Inclusion, dedicated to delivering high-quality learning opportunities that improve outcomes for young people and adults across the borough. What you will get to do

* Provide outstanding customer service to learners, employers, parents, partners and stakeholders.
* Support the effective day to day running of learning venues and curriculum delivery.
* Enrol learners onto programmes, arrange payments where required and provide accurate course information.
* Coordinate curriculum administration, including qualification registration, certification, assessments and exams in line with deadlines.
* Support the administration and payment of bursaries, learner support funds and grants.
* Input, maintain and collate accurate data using management information systems.
* Operate a range of internal and external IT and financial systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Respond to queries and provide information to managers and operational staff.
* Follow, review and update procedures relevant to the role and contribute to continuous service improvement.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to achieving service objectives.
* Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade of the post.


What You Will Bring

* Knowledge of business and educational procedures and administrative processes.
* Competence in Microsoft Office and digital systems.
* Appropriate level of English and maths for the role.
* Experience of working in a business or educational setting, following established procedures.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience of data input and management using management information systems.
* A commitment to high-quality customer care and service delivery.
* The ability to work flexibly, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
